Northward
to the Dunes of Genipabu
Soon
after the ferry crossing over Guaraíras Canal in Tibau
do Sul, our route follows the deserted Malembar Beach and on
to the World’s Largest Cashew Tree. A relaxing drive past
“Devil’s Cliff” and a visit to Natal’s
prominent city beaches — Ponta Negra, Praia dos Artistas
(Artists’ Beach), Praia do Meio (Middle Beach), and Praia
do Forte (Fort Beach). We cross the Potengi River and arrive
in Genipabu for an unforgettable buggy ride in the landmark
park of still and “shifting” dunes.
On the way back enjoy lunch while appreciating the view at Lake
Arituba.

Jacumã
Lake
For those who want even more excitement we have the option of
continuing on from Genipabu to Jacumã Lake for swimming,
wildlife sightings and fording native streams. You can also
enjoy two thrilling and traditional local adventures: Skibunda
and Aerobunda — cable rides with a splashing destination.
