If you are planning to do this all in a day we suggest you set off bright & early in the morning. First stop is the Nature Sanctuary. This is an area of protected Atlantic forest that has 16 trails for you to enjoy contact with nature. After a little rest hop in the car and off to Pousada da Mata (800m away). As well as nature trails there is plenty of animal & birdlife to be spotted in this 11 hectares of Atlantic forest.

2nd stage: Pousada Mirante da Pipa (1c) and Yahoo! (1d)
Distance: 500m in Mirante da Pipa & 500m at Yahoo!
How long: 5 minutes for each.

Pousada Mirante de Pipa (close to Construja -Builder’s Merchants, on the main street) is situated on Morro Vicenza (Vincent’s Hill) and amongst the last remains of Atlantic forest in the village. With its 1.8 hectares of Atlantic forest, O Mirante offers the best option in the area; ideal for simply watching a breathtaking sunset and having a panoramic view of Pipa without moving an inch!
But if you really want to see stars visit Pousada Yahoo! on Praia das Minas . It’s set amongst 4.5 hectares of Atlantic Forest and has a viewpoint where you can stargaze to your heart’s content and watch the moon blaze a silver trail across the ocean.
