With exuberant nature edged with an immense stretch of coconut palms the beach situated below the Village Natureza hotel (which stands on the cliffs above) is in a calm bay with gentle waves making it ideal for swimming. If you are lucky you might also see the magnificent natural show the dolphins often give in the mornings. For those who like walking we suggest a stroll along the sand to the next beach (do madeiro [or timber]) which is just as beautiful. If you are here between November and May you might even come across a turtle nest!
