The
name
of this pousada translates as "the
donkey's cry." The story goes that
while the pousada was being built a
donkey used to announce the beginning
and end of the workers' day.
This place is the ideal choice for those
who want to be hidden in the woods,
away from the noise of Pipa, although
it is only 600 meters from the sea. The
area is beautiful, comprising 2700 square
meters of land nicely landscaped in
harmony with the native vegetation.
There are only 6 chalets, measuring
20 square meters, rustic but comfortable,
with exposed brick work, private verandah
with hammock, en suite bath with hot
water, frigobar, air conditioning (in
two rooms) or fan. The
owner,Daniel, speaks English and gives
personal attention to guests.
Restaurant: try the Shrimps Jeguy cooked
with pineapple.
